Founder and owner/operator Ramose Thoma has been in the landscape construction industry for almost two decades. Directly after college he began working with Wolfgang Paul, a decorated and esteemed arborist and landscape artist from Germany. In the nearly 5 years he spent working as foreman and right-hand man, Ramose learned the intricacies of the art of landscaping, as well as proper care methods (installation, pruning, etc.) of trees and plants. He then moved to Germany and began work with Wolfgang's former colleague David Harz. Another master of the craft, David helped hone Ramose's skills, particularly in relation to stone and hardscape work.

Established in Los Angeles in 2014, Natur has completed projects in Hawaii, California, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. Working intermittently as a contract climber with high-end tree care companies, Ramose has spent these last years building Natur to embody the sense of beauty and attention to detail he has adopted as standard in the redesign and creation of works of landscape art.
